- Ghost Rider is the only character in the game to get the equivalent to errata; while he was previously allowed to, it has been ruled that Ghost Rider cannot boost his movement after spending Hellfire to activate his ability. This is because this facilitated the "Vroom Vroom" strategy, allowing Ghost Rider to run laps across the map and deal damage to everyone he drove through.

- During the final phase of licensor approvals, Marvel expressed that they didn't like Misty Knight having a gun, as they disliked the concept of her shooting Moon Knight. Because of this, a lot of her cards were made to be martial arts-themed and leaned away from her history as a cop.
