What is It?
Originating as a series of articles analyzing each fighter released in Unmatched, the An Unmatched Roster series hopes to assemble a line-up of characters of equal caliber.
Balance
Not every character in the arsenal will be equally matched against every other character in the arsenal, but they will have a wide spread of fun and relatively close fights to engage with.
32 Fighters
Due to an ever-growing roster and a personal storage and sleeve limitation, the Unmatched Roster is composed of a max of 32 fighters that best represent the core ideas and mechanics the game has to offer.
Removing Toxic Play Patterns
Let's be honest; some character designs within the scope of Unmatched promote negative and unfun interactions, turning a game that we play for fun into a tedious slog. We hope to eliminate many of those negative interactions in the process of composing this roster, removing any offenders from the box.
