Marvel Cinematic Universe

Recommended Roster:
The Hunters and the Hunted
She-Hulk is a sturdy bruiser with tons of tools at her disposal, and her competition is no different. These characters pack a punch but have some clever ways of dealing damage outside of combat, both through card effects and character abilities.

- While Rob Daviau was the primary designer of Spider-Man, many of the other Restoration designers and developers helped to fill in the cards, as "[w]e all had strong ideas for Spider-Man."
Brian Neff, Discord, June 12th, 2023
- Justin Jacobson explained that the design philosophy behind Spider-Man was that "[w]e knew Spider-Man would be the top choice for new or casual players, so we designed him to work for that target audience. The special ability is designed for folks who haven't memorized the opposing deck and will just play it superficially based on numbers. 'Ooh, they're playing a 4 -- I'll get to draw 2 cards -- neat!' I understand why he's not great to play in a competitive game, but that just wasn't our primary design goal."
Justin Jacobson, Discord, November 27th, 2023
- Spider-Man's foil is the first to feature two different colors of foil.
Recommended Roster:
Flow Like Water
Spider-Man spends a lot of the game reacting to what attacks the opponent is using, setting himself up for a few big attacks to close out the game. Each of these characters similarly seeks moments of weakness amidst a sea of smaller bouts, attempting to draw out the fight long enough to find just the right moment to pounce.
